# Hire an n8n consultant to fix your inquiry, proposal and onboarding handoffs

> n8n consultant for agencies and service firms: faster lead replies, follow-ups that keep moving, proposals carried into onboarding. Request a written quote.

I'm an n8n and workflow automation consultant who builds business systems for agencies and service firms. I take on one connected workflow at a time, such as inquiry replies, follow-ups, proposal drafts or client onboarding, in accounts you control. Send me the workflow and I'll reply with a written scope and a fixed-price quote.

I'm Mashrur, an n8n and workflow automation consultant who builds business systems for agencies and service firms. If leads wait too long for a first reply, follow-ups depend on someone remembering, proposals stall between a call and a send, or new clients wait days to be set up, I build the workflows that carry those handoffs. I work on one connected workflow at a time, in accounts you control. Customer-facing decisions stay under your control, with approval steps where they're needed.

To start, send me the workflow, roughly how often it runs, the tools it touches and who would approve it. I'll reply with a written scope and a fixed-price quote once there's enough to scope it.

## What I take on

Each of these is one workflow with a clear start and end. Each has its own page if you want the longer version.

*Four places work gets stuck, and what I build for each*

| Where work gets stuck | What I build | The longer version |
| --- | --- | --- |
| Inquiries that wait for a reply | New leads get a drafted reply in front of the right person quickly, so the first answer isn't left to whoever is free. | [Why leads wait for a first reply](/bottlenecks/lead-response) |
| Follow-ups that depend on memory | I can build the follow-up step so that every open conversation has a next step and an owner, and a promising lead doesn't go quiet because nobody picked it up. | [Follow-up that doesn't happen](/bottlenecks/follow-up) |
| Proposals that take days to leave the building | I can build a step that gathers the details from the call, the email thread and the form into a proposal draft for you to review before it goes anywhere. The draft is a starting point; you still decide what is sent. | [Proposal turnaround](/bottlenecks/proposal-turnaround) |
| New clients waiting to start | After "yes", the folder, task list, channel and welcome email are set up from one form instead of by hand. | [Client launch](/systems/client-launch) |

## How an engagement runs

1. **You send the details.** The workflow, how often it runs, the tools involved and who approves it. A short email is enough.
2. **I send a written scope and quote.** Each installation has a fixed price for an agreed scope, put in writing before any work starts. The quote carries a go-live date agreed before you commit. If I need more detail first, I ask in writing.
3. **I build it in your accounts.** Steps that are the same every time run on their own. Anything customer-facing, such as a reply, a price or a promise, stays under your control, with an approval step where you want one. When a step fails, you get an alert that names it.
4. **You get the handover.** Written docs that say what starts each workflow, what it changes and where its alerts go, so someone else can pick it up.

Ongoing care after the build is optional and agreed separately. You don't need a call at any point, though you can book one.

## Background

Before SignalNine, in enterprise work, I built an offer-launch system that cut launches from 3 working days to a few hours, and a shared validation dashboard that reduced QA time by 60%. Those were enterprise systems, not agency work, and SignalNine has no client case studies yet, so nothing on this page is a SignalNine client result. The details are on the proof page, linked below.

## What I've built under SignalNine

These are my own systems, each with its known limits on its page. None has a client installation yet.

*My own systems and where each has run*

| System | What it does | Where it has run |
| --- | --- | --- |
| [Inquiry desk](/systems/inquiry-desk) | Drafts a reply to each lead email that passes a junk screen, and nothing sends until I approve it. | SignalNine's own inbox, since 2026-09-07 |
| [Lead to reply](/systems/lead-to-reply) | Checks a website form lead, adds it to HubSpot, scores it and drafts a reply for approval. | Test leads on accounts I own |
| [Data intake sync](/systems/data-intake-sync) | Checks form and PDF test records in Airtable and updates HubSpot after an opt-out check. | Test records on accounts I own. Its email-reading step has not yet had a live emailed PDF |
| [Client launch](/systems/client-launch) | Sets up a new client's workspace from one form. | Test workspaces I own |

Lead to reply and data intake sync also exist as free workflow files on the templates page, linked below, with their limits stated.

## Who this suits, and who it doesn't

It suits an owner-led agency or service firm that already gets inquiries and proposals regularly, and where the same handoff is done by hand every time.

It isn't a fit if:

- you need several builders at once, or someone on call at all hours. I'm one person.
- the work involves highly sensitive data or tight security approvals, where a long review would come before any build.
- you want a software product built from scratch. This is workflow and handoff work.
- the workflow is one short chain you'd be happy to set up yourself. A public template may be all you need.

## n8n, or something lighter?

n8n suits chains that touch several of your tools and need branching, retries and approval steps. For one simple connection a lighter tool can be enough, and I'll say so. The comparison of n8n, Zapier and Make for a service business, linked below, has the longer answer.

## Questions

**Should I hire an n8n developer, a consultant or an agency?**

A developer builds what you specify. A consultant also works out what to build and where a person should stay in the loop. I do both for one workflow at a time. If you need several people building in parallel, an agency fits better. The related pages below compare freelancers, agencies and embedded operators, and list questions to ask anyone building your automations, whether that's me or someone else you're considering.

**Are you an n8n automation agency or a consultant?**

I'm one person, so I'm a consultant who builds. You work with the person doing the work, and I can't staff a large project in parallel.

**Do you only work with n8n?**

n8n is my primary implementation tool, and it isn't the only option. When another tool fits the job better, I'll say so, because what matters is the handoff that's stuck.

**What does it cost?**

Each installation has a fixed price for an agreed scope, put in writing before work starts. There's no price on this page because it depends on the workflow. Send the details above and I'll quote from them.

**How long does it take?**

It depends on the workflow and how many tools it touches. The quote carries a go-live date agreed before you commit, so you aren't relying on a general promise.

**Who owns the workflows?**

By default they run in accounts you control. If a managed exception makes sense, it's named in the scope before you approve it.

**Can I see how one of these works first?**

You can read how the inquiry desk handles a lead on its page and in the teardown of the inquiry desk, both linked below, including its known limits.
